What is JetBackup?

This app is one of cPanel’s solutions. JetBackup enables users to reinforce their accounts efficiently and promptly using cPanel remote as well as other incremental platforms. It allows you to resell the service using a user-friendly billing system and Application Programming Interface (API) to clients through the interface. JetBackup has upsides over its traditional counterparts:

  • Backups by the hour – This is mandatory for dynamic websites with data that change frequently.
  • Jobs per Reseller Package – Users may impose extra fees for plans with enabled backup functionalities or offer added-value to hosting clients. This includes backups per each cPanel package.
  • Backup job assessment – You can project the backup job performance for maximum efficiency.
  • Incremental remote backups – The approach reduces backup space. Do this only once. Subsequent backups will only use up space from modified files.
  • Several destinations – JetBackup supports cPanel WebHost Manager auto backup to multiple selected destinations. These include the remote File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Amazon S3, Dropbox, remote Secure Socket Shell (SSH), and local backups. Amazon S3 offers storage using the web service interface.
  • Single file restore – You can restore everything with the Graphical User Interface (GUI) by simply touching a button. It includes WHM/cPanel Restore Database, files, emails, and Cron job.
  • Sell backup service – It is easy to create backup products for clients. You can link them to their current hosting accounts through the JetBackup Manager module (WHMCS business automation tool).

Feel free to limit the jobs depending on package or reseller. You may perform multiple tasks for different destinations. Or, backup to the remote destination and download files without difficulty from the local backup. It provides API access to the backup and restore as well as limit space or inodes data structure (Unix file systems) for users. Sell through the WebHost Manager Complete Solution.
